The Importance Of Meditation

It is widely known that some of the most influential and successful individuals among us aren’t strangers to this incredible practice. There are thousands of different forms and variations on meditation, however this is one consistency across the board. Silence.

I am not talking about the silence one might experience in an empty room or in an awkward situation. I am talking about the quieting of ones own mind. In it’s purest form, meditation allows us the ability to dismiss the thoughts that consistently bombard us daily with nonsense that does not serve our higher purpose.

It’s this “Noise” that distracts us from focusing our attention towards what is truly important for our success.

At Zone we like to practice a form of meditation called the ‘Wim Hof Method’. Some of you may be aware of Wim Hof.

Wim Hof who is commonly knows as the “Ice man” holds just about every cold water world record out there. It is this method of meditation that Wim credits his 17 current World Record titles.

As a man who works upwards of 12 hours a day. I find it absolutely necessary that I take time EVERY day to quiet my mind, turn off the “Noise” so to speak, and to focus my attention on no-one else but my own thoughts.

I encourage that any of you that may be experiencing some form of stress, worry or uncertainty for the future, take up meditation. Implement it slowly into your day to day routine and I can guarantee you, done correctly you will experience a level of abundance never thought possible!
